it's been too long!
okay, so the last week has been crazy...in fact, a couple of times i told derek that i forgot what it's like to not be moving our stuff. even though we moved only like 3 blocks away...it's still HARD work (especially with kids "helping" :)! anyways, we're officially done moving and living in the new house...whew! i'm so glad it's done and now we're able to do the fun part...decorating! i love this part of moving. anyways...i'm so behind on blogging (with pictures) that i'm gonna just throw a bunch of them up kinda random to catch up...enjoy!
here are the girls watching the trailer get loaded (notice the couch on our OLD across-the-street-neighbors driveway...we're NOT gonna miss that! so ghetto!)
we did A LOT of eating out this last week (even more than usual :)
we had bagels with our friends, the castro's saturday morning...we love hanging out with them. and...cyndi brought her 6 week old Schnauzer, dexter...the girls LOVED him!
this was our first day in the new house...leia was trying to help me decorate their room...oops!
after sleeping our first night in the house...the girls actually slept in...
until 8:00!!! that hasn't happened ever!
our first time making pancakes at the new place...
derek had the girls help him wash his car yesterday so i could start dinner...boy were they helpful! :)
and, for dessert, we made a BIG homemade pizookie...i have to admit, it was really good (i'm definitely more of a baker than a cook)!
remember, on a different post i was saying that i told kaia we'd paint their bathroom green? well, here's the before pic...
and here's the after pic taken this morning (i was up 'til like 12:30 painting)...the girls loved it! you can't really tell, but it's kinda a "sage-y/sea foam-y" color...
okay, now that i'm caught up...hopefully i'll be back to my usual "blog 2-3 times a day" self! :)

wow, just from the few pics- the house looks awesome! we'd love to come see it once you feel settled. i can't get over how darling kaia's hair is. it always looks "styled"! looking forward to seeing more pics soon. max started pre-school yesterday- it was a modified orientation day, but he already LOVES it and so do i. he'll be going tues/thur. let's try to hang out soon :)

I am so glad you are "back"! I was gonna ask how things were going on Sunday but ... you saw how it was in the Walkers that morning! :) Anytime you guys need a frozen yogurt break from decorating and unpacking and arranging, you know who to call1 :)
