some "winter" fun...

here we are downtown...

my little singer...

here are daddy and little sis watching leia at her pre-school Christmas program...such a supportive sister :)
see her in the front in the black & white...
not the best pic, but hey...we had to take one in her classroom.
here's leia holding the gift she made for us...she's so cute, she tells me, "mama, you can't open it 'til Christmas, it's a surprise". she worked so hard making whatever's in there. ahhhh.

i know, i'm way behind.

i finally got a facebook page (or whatever it's called...see, i don't even know the facebook "lingo" yet :) j/k. anyways, that's why i haven't been blogging much...i've been trying to wrap my mind around the idea of the fact that i'm a face-booker now. now i see how people can waste hours on facebook...time flies when you're on there! i'm gonna have to set time limits for myself or something. that's partly why it took me so long to do it, i didn't want one more "time waster" for myself. anyways, the "newness" is wearing off now, so i think i'll be okay. anyways, i still don't really know the difference between 1. writing on someone's wall, 2. leaving a private comment and 3. doing a regular "post" (i guess that's what you call it). so, if i write to any of you facebookers and do it wrong, sorry. come visit me on there if you want a new face book pal. :)

just 'cuz she's cute...

i LOVE how easy it is to get her to smile...she has such a fun personality!

she's growing up.

well, here's leia's first official pre-school picture. i wish i woulda known that the background was gonna be a pumpkin/fall theme 'cuz i wouldn't have dressed her in pastels. oh well, i think it's still pretty cute. look how proud of herself she looks! :)

until we meet again...

well, the time has come...our d-land passes expire in a few days, so we went one last time yesterday. i'm sure we'll renew our passes again, but i think we'll wait until the baby's 1 or so. i have to say, it was a great "grand finale" the girls went on a lot of rides (which doesn't always happen when the lines are too long) & leia went on the Matterhorn for the first time. she was SO proud of herself...she kept saying, "can you believe i'm tall enough?!" we didn't realize that you only have to be 35" tall, we thought it was 40". she's been tall enough for a while. oops, at least we realized that yesterday before the passes expire. she LOVED it! and, the baby had her 1st Santa pic (ans Mrs. Clause pic :).
enjoy the pics...

let the decorating begin...

we got our tree this weekend and the whole "tree picking out" experience was a little different this year...good "ol target was where we got it & for 19 bucks! yeah, it's a little "charlie brown tree-ish", but, hey...the kids could care less. :)
and...i embroidered alana's name on her stocking, i remember thinking last year if i'd get to be sewing another baby's name on a new stocking this year. ;)
here are all 5...
my little decorators...

as you can see... once again, alana's not thrilled with the idea of a pic! one of these days we'll get one of all 3 girls smiling (or not crying or AT LEAST looking). haha.
ta da...
hey, 2 out of 3 smiling isn't bad...especially when one of the one's smiling is a 2 month old!
let the Christmas season begin...
