"over the hump"

so, here's the update on leia's never-ending stomach flu...she woke up this morning acting like a rag doll & 10 minutes after she drank like a 1/2 inch of my gatorade/pedialyte cocktail, out it came & she had a low fever. so, after we dropped kaia off at pre-school, i took her to the doctor. and, of course on the way there she ate 3/4 of an eggo and kept it down and almost 1/2 of a bottled water (which is WAY more than i have been letting her drink at one time)...and it didn't come back up. but, my poor baby has lost like 3 pounds...when i weighed her like a month ago she weighed about 27 lbs., and today she was 24 lbs. and she 2 and a 1/2...we need to get some meat back on her little bones!
anyways, if only i had waited 1 more hour to take her in, we could have bypassed the whole "going to the dr. part of the day"...oh well, that's how it always happens, right? :) at least she's feeling better finally...hopefully we have all these sicknesses out of our systems for the rest of the year!
p.s.~if she continues to feel better, we're going to get our Christmas tree tonight...so, hopefully the next post you see are pics of us trimming the tree and not someone puking (sorry :).
