"better than eggos"

this morning the girls helped me make waffles...i know we've made them before, but i guess they forgot how they're made cuz they were amazed at the whole process. when i opened up the waffle-maker to see if they were done, kaia gasped as if i had just shown her a treasure chest full of gold (sorry, that was kinda weird...i'm tired). then...when they tasted them, kaia says, "let's have these every day, these are better than eggos!" it's really not a family recipe...just good 'ol Bisquick...
such a big help...
i'm definitely more of a baker/breakfast maker than a cook and the girls enjoy it!

BTW...just another potty training update (for those of you who are interested): leia slept in "undies" last night & woke up dry...she woke up with a dry diaper every morning last week, so we went for it and she did it! :)
