our friend's, the collins', had us over for dinner and got the slip and slide out for the kids to play. kaia was really into it for a while and leia walked up and down it a few times and then she was done...
here's kaia going back for more...
weeeeeeee!
here's leia (barely even wet), heading for the swing set...she even said, "mama, i no yike (like) it" and "i'm done" :)
this is more like it...nice and warm & dry...
here's leia and derek swinging together...after this they were in the playhouse together. it was funny, leia was on the play phone holding a little pan (like she was on the phone while cooking dinner for him) and derek ran out of the little house with a plate of food on it. they looked so cute playing house ;)
we finished the night with a trip to our new favorite new frozen yogurt place...yum!!!
thanks again guys for having us over...see y'all tomorrow!

wow shan, i just can't keep up with you. you guys are going, going, going, and blogging too. i love that you are always out doing things together as a family. i checked out greg laurie's blog and felt like i got hit in the gut the second i saw the picture of his son's family. i can't imagine...but i'm thankful they are followers of Christ and that He is hearing all our prayers and remains by their side to listen, love, and cradle them.
i can't believe benja's wedding is just a few weeks away- gosh the summer is going so fast as usual. max is done with swim and so are weeks are totally free in august- would love to meet up again! any ideas of what we could do?
oh my goodness, you've got to be kidding me...
milo just walked up to me rubbing his hands all together and when i took a closer look found out it was his poop. he reached into his diaper. lucky you that you are done with diapers for awhile :).
ohhhh kris...i really feel for you about poop incident. don't worry...you too, will be diaper free again someday. :)
we'd love to get together again soon. i don't really know a lot of places for us to meet 1/2 way...we could do bounce u & lunch again, the girls loved it. what'da you think?
glad you had fun we did too! Thanks for introducing us to your yogurt place!
So cute! They are just adorable. It's so funny how some kids love the water and some don't. We can't even get out the garden hose without Kadence yelling, "water!" and trying to drench herself, clothes and all, till her lips are blue and she's shaking, then she still cries when I make her come inside. We should get a slip and slide...that would be quite the hit!
Slip and Slides are so fun! I love Leia's bathing suit even if she didn't want to get wet!
