a bunch of 3 & 4 year olds+ putt putt= no golf rules

kaia's actual birthday is next thursday, but we had her party today. we asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday and she said putt putt golf and for lunch...CHIPOTLE (of course), that's our girl! :) so, we started out at chipotle & then we drove over to putt putt golf and we realized that kids this age totally turn off their "listening to the rules" ears when putt putt golf (for the first time) is involved. we finally just gave up as far as getting the kids to wait their turn and not "cheat" (i.e.:walking up to the hole and putting their ball a few inches from it to putt it in)...as long as no one left with a black eye, we were happy. so, i guess it was a success...we all walked out of there un-harmed. derek was the only one who came close to hitting someone with the club & i was the near victim
we eat at chipotle so much that our "friends" that work there gave kaia an awesone chipotle burrito balloon...

yes, kaia even opened a few gifts at chipotle. i felt kinda silly...it's not your typical kids birthday lunch spot! :)
