ummmm...mr. elephant???

okay, so remember the post i did last week or so about leia's little elephant she puts on her owies that makes her stop crying instantly? yeah, he didn't come through for us tonight...the girls were playing this game where they run toward the wall and stop themselves with their hands and they think it's so fun for some reason. we usually tell them to stop cuz they might get hurt, but tonight before we got to the telling them to stop part, it was too late. leia's forehead hit the wall, and not only did it hit the wall, but her head hit the little ridge that goes around the sliding glass door, so it started swelling up instantly. poor thing, as if that wasn't bad enough, i looked at it as it started swelling and screamed. sorry, baby...it just freaked me out for a minute there. we ran to the fridge to get the elephant and she wanted nothing to do with it. so, we just did everything to distract her as i held real ice on it. poor baby, i remember how much i hated that when i was a kid. and, just in time for her birthday...i hope it doesn't turn in to a huge, bruised bump.

at least she's still smiling for a picture! :)
check out the top right part of her forehead...that's not good. my poor almost-two-year-old.
p.s.~i don't know what it is, but we've all been getting hurt a lot lately...i think i broke my toe yesterday...running in the morning is gonna be interesting!
