California fires...

We were down in San Diego today & i happened to have the camera with us (surprise, surprise), so i took a few pics of what's going on here (for those of you who don't live in CA). i'm just so appreciative of what the fireman are doing, risking their lives to protect us. i heard that a lot of them have only had 3 hours of sleep since all of these fires started (on sunday...4 days ago), i just can't imagine doing what they do with no sleep. i saw 2 fireman that are on duty in san diego today when we were at jamba juice and i told derek that i just wanted to go hug them...he didn't like that idea much (he,he). anyways, here are the pics...

here are one of the helicopters that drop water...if i had taken the pic 2 seconds sooner, you'd be able to see the water dropping!
