back to reading...

my friend, kellie (that i miss a lot!!) recommended this book the other day...so, after storytime with leia today, i checked it out. one of Francine River's other books that i read, Redeeming Love, was wonderful and i really like her style of writing. i'm only on page 10 of this book & i'm already hooked. anyways...i'm off to go read now. has anyone else read this, and if so did you like it?

Hi Shannon,

I found your blog because you support compassion too. :) Save the Children is just like you because they have compassion and are on a mission to help kids around the world.

Did you know that it only costs 5 cents to cure a child with malaria? This is just one way Save the Children spends the money they receive.

I wanted to let you know about the More than Footprints campaign Trip Advisor is running to give away $1 million total to five great causes, including Save the Children. The more you vote, the more money Save the Children receives.

Will you help us support Save the Children by voting for them and asking your friends and family to do the same? Here is the link: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Causes-STC?m=11507

It really only takes 10 seconds to vote. No donations are needed. The money is already there, we just need your help to vote so that Save the Children will actually get the money!

I will be blogging about the campaign through an approved Trip Advisor blog: (http://morethanfootprints.typepad.com/votesavethechildren/).

Will you please blog about this amazing campaign and post this widget (please email me for the widget) up on your blog that takes people straight to the voting site and tells them about Save the Children? I would be happy to blog about your site as well.

Thank you so much,
Wendy Huang
