Well, as you few of my regular blog readers know, we've been out of town until a few days ago so i haven't been blogging anywhere near as often as i used to. things are getting back to normal & i finally have all the wash done (after they've been cleaned, dried and folded and sitting on the couch ready to put away for the last 3 days or so) & all the suitcases unpacked, and i am so sad to say that we are back home from hawaii. we had SUCH a great time there and REALLY didn't want to leave...but, that's a whole other subject. if you haven't checked out the slide show of pics from the trip, look below... we were on the Big Island for 1 week and on Oahu for a week and it was full of: hurricane flying, derek's family visiting, friend visiting (our great friends, the acosta's), bus sleeping, outhouse going, beach going, house building (derek and jesse), kids playing, horse feeding, thrift shopping (and regular shopping), water sliding, sun baking, 24-hour stomach bug (aka "the runs") having, manapua eating, shave ice drinking, kinda surfing, hearing the waves crash-while-sleeping, tattoo getting, FUN!!!

Way to go with the tattoo. What did Derek get? Apparently you forgot to post the pictures of his new tat. Hah!
no, derek didn't get one...there wasn't anything he wanted on his body for the rest of his life (mabye next time) :).
