the CUTEST baby seahorses i've EVER seen!Today, we decided that we would take the girls to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach (a.k.a. the "LBC", for all of you rap fans out there), so Kaia could FINALLY touch a shark. every time the commercial comes on for the aquarium that talks about how you can touch a shark, Kaia says, "Mama (or daddy), can I touch a shark?" and, we didn't want to just keep telling her, "someday, baby". so today was the day & the drive there was nice...it RAINED! it actually felt like winter...yea! the drive back was very long, it took us almost 2 hours to drive 59 miles (i guess it coulda' been worse). anyways, after we got there kaia wasn't as brave as she was when she watched the kids doing it on t.v., but with a little "help" from daddy, she touched 3 sharks. She loved it and leia had fun too...her favorite was looking at the fish in the aquariums. check out the pics.

It is good to hear that your family had fun at the LBC because we are headed there on Wednesday for Stephen's sixth birthday. Stephen has been seeing the commercials forever on PBS and he is really excited about touching sharks, like Kaia, and seeing all the other creatures.
