well, derek and i met almost exactly 7 years ago now (a little history...i moved to california from texas in january 2000) & something "BIG" has happened every year since:
~2000: we met (in january)
~2001: we got engaged (in november)
~2002: we got married (in may)
~2003: we bought our first house (in february), got
pregnant with kaia (in february too :)) & we had
kaia (in november)...whew, that year was busy!
~2004: we "chilled" (kaia had her first Hawaii trip in march)
~2005: we got pregnant with leia (in september)
~2006: derek beat a serious illness & we had leia (in june)
~2007: ??????????????? (hopefully, we'll be able to fill
this line in with "we bought our second house")...
that would be great!
What are your hopes and plans for 2007?

The last 7 have been quite a trip for us as well, we moved to Escondido in Jan 2000, 2001 I was running a golf tour, 2002, I was operating my own golf tour, 2003 I was a full time paid preacher, January 2004 we started the Hope Family Center, In November 2005 we closed the Hope Family Center, 2006 I worked in New Orleans, 2007 holds the promise of a new work in Christ, the release of Dp's new album, and the hope that all of us can start a new ministry somewhere where we can all aford to live and own a new home. My 2007 prayer is for Derek to remain healthy, my wife to keep her sanity, and for God to start using all of us again. May 2007 be blessed for you and your family, we love you...
