5 more days...

...until kaia starts "real school". kaia had her "back to school" night tonight, where she met her teacher & saw her classroom and all that fun stuff. and, it just hit me that it's real school tonight when they talked about being tardy. we never had to worry about "tardies" at her pre-school...we'd just stroll in there 10-15 minutes late on a regular basis. i guess we're gonna have to change our morning routine a little. anyways, like i said, we met her teacher, who seems great. kaia also saw where she's gonna sit, her little cup of pencils & crayons with her name on it, her name on the wall, the cafeteria...all that kinda stuff. it's so weird that she'll be gone like over 6 hours a day...i'm used to her little 3 hour a day pre-school, where by the time i get home and do a couple of things, it's time to go pick her up. oh, i'm sure there will be tears (mine) on the 1st day for sure! all these changes are happening all at once...
