AVP

we went to the AVP volleyball tournament today and all i can really think to say about it right now is that it was HHHHOOOOTTTT (and i usually like hot weather)!!!! the girls came with us for a couple of hours in the morning (when it was about 85*) and they kept saying "can we go home"...unless we were walking around getting free samples of yummy Naked juice or something. once leia said, "i wanna be in cold water"...poor baby. so cute. so, we went to drop them off at papa & nema's house. then, if they had thought it was hot at 10:30 in the morning, that was NOTHING compared to when we went back after lunch...i'm not kidding, we sat in 99* weather in metal bleachers for like 5 more hours.....ugggghhh! so, yeah, it was fun, but we're both really sunburned...hey, at least i got the "tan" i was going for. haha.
this was like the first 10 minutes...not too bad yet.


don't we look great (well, derek looks fine)...i had just gotten my hair cut at one of the booths they had there and as you can see they didn't style it afterwards....combine that fact with the weather and that explains my "look". nice!
