16 weeks along...

well, almost...i'll be 16 weeks tomorrow, but since i had my 16 week pre-natal appt. today i thought i'd take a belly pic a day early. anyways, so here's the update...it was a pretty quick dr.'s appt. today...they weighed me. i've gained another 3 pounds in the last month, for a grand total of 11 lbs. (with the girls i gained weight faster the first 1/2 of my pregnancy than the last 1/2. so even though it seems like i'm gaining weight kinda fast, it'll most likely slow down towards the end...we'll see). and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat, which sounded great! and i had another blood test. that's about it...oh, and she said that someone would be calling us soon to schedule our ultrasound appt. for next month (the one where we'll find out the baby's sex)...sometime mid-May.
OH...and some very exciting news, i started feeling the baby kick/flutter a couple of days ago. by the 3rd time around i know the difference between gas "rumbles" & getting kicked & it's definitely that baby's little arms and/or legs! :) it's just as exciting as the 1st and 2nd times around! too bad derek's out of town. babe, you need to get home so you can get your hand on my belly and feel your 3rd child kickin' me! ;) miss you & love you. ~s
