we'll suffer for fun...
we told the girls that we'd take them to a water park before the summer ended and we were kinda free today, so today was the day. we headed over to (Knotts Berry Farm) Soak City and it was pretty fun. for those of you who plan on taking your young kids...here are a few things i wish i had known before we went: 1. wait until at least one of your kids are at least 42 inches tall (kaia's like 41", but they're pretty strict about that apparently), cuz you can't really do anything except for the wave pool & the baby slides & the "lazy river" (which was closed today!!!). and...2. don't put your flip flops in the locker, WEAR them around the park...cuz', between the extremely HOT & very ROUGH cement, our feet were killing us (and still are). i'm not kidding, i have a pretty high pain tolerance and it felt like we were walking on hot coals with needles stabbing your feet (and, no...i'm not being dramatic). besides those factors...it was just great! (yes...if you're sensing a little sacrasm, you're right. ha, ha). anyways...i am glad we went, at least they loved the wave pool A LOT!

i think your girls will be. they already seem to have a great bond and if they are close when they are young like that they are more likely to be close friends as they get older. (: you probably know this but never let them think just because they are sisters that they can't be friends! i think that is lame when people automaticaly rule their siblings out as close friends when infact siblings can be the only friends that you know will be there forever whether they like it or not.
yeah i am excited for her! she will have a lot of fun. maybe she'll come to your house for home cooked meals and free laundry.. (; just kidding!
yeah i live in fresno. yay for crazy hot weather and fog. haha. it's all good though! i don't mind it here at all.
i love the pictures by the way. that looked like a lot of fun! i'm sorry about your burnt feet though, that stinks!! :(

How fun minus the whole feet thing! We try to got out to our water park at least once a week, since we have season passes. We meet up with a few other moms and their kiddos. The girls love it. We have to something to beat the Fresno heat!
Looks like it was fun despite the hot ground. Next summer we will join you!
Hey so Daniel and I are going to try to come to SoCal at the end of October...I don't know if we will be able to. But maybe we can hang out?
