i know, i know...i was gonna start taking belly pics once a month, but my sister wanted to see my belly so here i am at 5 1/2 months along. she's really starting to move A LOT, in fact last night she was moving SO much that i could see movement on my belly as i was watching t.v. in my peripheral vision! derek was able to really see my belly moving a lot too. she gets really active around 9:00 at night...uh oh, does this mean she's gonna be a night owl like her sisters? haha.
i looked up the "22 week info" on one of my pregnancy websites and it said that she's already about 11 inches long! no wonder i can feel her moving a lot more now. i love it. :)

weird dreams #1:
i thought that since i'm pregnant i'd start a new "series" called "weird dreams". i've been having them pretty much since the day i found out i'm pregnant, but most of the time they make some sort of sense. well, last night i had a crazy dream...i don't remember the story line, but what i do remember is pretty creepy...i dreamt that i had paperclips for eye lashes. no, of course they weren't normally formed paperclips...they had been straightened out and i had bent them into a curve to make them look long and "doll like". you know, like how they look on all the mascara commercials. maybe i need to stop watching t.v. so close to bedtime! weird.

comment of the day #15:
after leia's dance class yesterday, we had lunch and then walked across to Sports Authority so derek could look at some sunglasses and golf stuff. they have a little putting green there, so the girls wanted to practice their putting. leia found a little pink golf club, but the "head" was wrapped in plastic packaging (i'm assuming, so it wouldn't get used/dinged up). so, derek found both of the girls a little putter made for their height. they were happily putting away...and after leia get a few in the hole, she missed one. then, she proceedes to say, "i want the pink one!" i tell her that it's not supposed to be used cuz' it's wrapped up. and she says, "but, this one's not linning (listening) to me!!!" she sad it with such a sad face, and then she slumped over like a little golfer having a tantrum. it's moments like these, where i shouldn't be laughing, but who could help it? :)

good t.v., etc.
i don't really have anything exciting to blog about...if you haven't noticed, i haven't blogged in over a week. just been REALLY tired lately....i thought i was supposed to start having more energy now that i'm 5 months along? any day now would be nice. anyways. we did start going on family walks after dinner a few nights ago, and it was pitiful. the back of my thighs were sore from pulling the girls in a wagon for about a mile...i mean there are a lot of hills in our neighborhood, but still. i don't wanna feel like a total blob, so it's a good thing we started that.
anyways...i'm SO excited about 2 new shows on t.v. The Bachelorette and So, You Think You Can Dance. i was SO tired on monday that i fell asleep watching The Bachelorette even before Part 1 was over, so i just finished watching it online tonight. Jillian is so cute. and, tonight we watched S.Y.T.Y.C.D. i LOVE that show, makes me wish i could dance like them. anyways, that's all. i just wanted to blog about something...i've been slackin'!
oh, and we think we finally mighta' agreed on a baby name but we decided that it's gonna be a surprise for the day she's born...yes, even from close friends and family. sorry, i hope no one's feelings are hurt, we've never kept baby name's a surprise and i think it'll be fun. unless we "slip". :)

i changed my mind...
okay...so, i felt like taking a pic of the baby's room so far. it's a lot cuter in person, you have to see the room as a whole. i think when it's all done, i'll have to do a quick video so you can see a 360* shot of the entire room. oh, and i forgot to mention that we DID save leia's crib bedding set, so we're using it again (trust me, it didn't get used much since she slept with us pretty much the first year). anyways...something else we're gonna do (once we decide on her name) is do that thing where you spell out the baby's name on the wall by hanging cute letters by ribbon...above the crib. hmmm... now for a name???
mama's day & other stuff...
i hope all the mama's and mama's-to-be (sam & kaley) had a wonderful mother's day...we had a great day. derek and the girls got me a necklace (that i had been hinting for :) and then after church we went over to papa & nema's house for a BBQ & swimming. the weather was great!
other stuff going on:
we finally got the baby's crib set (well, all but the changing table...babies-r-us had to order it, so it's on the way). i've been SO ready to start decorating the nursery (i know it's kinda early). anyways, our plans changed a little...we didn't save any of the baby furniture from kaia and leia, so we needed to get a whole new set & at first we were gonna buy our landlord's crib and changing table/dresser combo but their little boy decided that he still loves his crib & she has no idea when they're gonna be done with it. than...i found a really nice shabby chic set on craigslist but after talking about it more, we just decided to get a new set which i think is a lot smarter in the long run because the dresser is separate (not combined with a changing table), so we'll be able to use it even when she's not a baby anymore & the crib transitions into a real full sized bed later. can you tell i'm trying to justify spending more than twice the $ we were gonna spend. haha. i'll take pics of the nursery when the changing table comes in, later this week. stay tuned (i know...cheesy :).

she's feeling better.
after 2 days of high fever (like, it got up to 104* yesterday), it's finally gone. i hope i'm not talking too soon, but this morning was the 1st time i took her temperature since tuesday night where it said 98.6. no, she doesn't have the swine flu...she has no other symptoms other than fever but it was still scary! oh, and THANK God that no one else got what she had...i have NO idea how we managed that!
