well, assuming that Hurricane Flossie dies down a little, we should be in hawaii around this time tomorrow. i'm not the type to pack way ahead of time...so i'll probably start around midnight tonight. hey, what else do you need besides whats right here???

Oldies in the Plaza

a couple of nights ago, my friend vanessa's, dads band was playing in the Plaza. so, after a yummy dinner at chipotle with her and her family (her daughter is kaia's friend, tatum) and our other friend, heather and her 2 boys, gavin and derek... we walked over to listen to the band. the band is called "Day Trip'n" and they're an oldies band, they were really good and it was a lot of fun...as you can see from the pictures. all the kids had a great time...even leia was out there keeping up with them. :)"here daddy"

last day of VBS

yesterday was the last day of vacation bible school for kaia and she LOVED it, as you can see, kaia and her friend Gavin really became even better friends this week...pretty much every time she talked about vacation bible school...she referred to it as "vacation bible school with gavin". i guess this he is her first little "boyfriend". they are adorable togtether!
leia saw the kids singing and HAD to be up there with them in all the excitement :)



kaia was the ring-leader as far as getting all the kids wild and un-focused...i guess the 2 cups of punch right before they sang didn't helps matters!
